Channing Tatum gives childhood imaginary friend a hug as he is reunited with 'Boy' during Jimmy Kimmel appearance

He is best known for his hit movie roles in 21 Jump Street and Magic Mike.

But years before the fame, Channing Tatum was a boy in the South with an imaginary friend.

During the 34-year-old actor's Monday appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, the star had a bit of fun reflecting on his childhood as he was reunited with his fictitious companion.
After discussing his unreal buddy. who was named Boy, the host of the show surprised Channing by bringing out his fake childhood chum.

The entrance door of the studio popped up as music played just like it would for any other guest and the Foxcatcher star went in to hug thin air while spinning around.

Being the gent that he is, Channing even offered up the first seat to Boy as he jokingly said: 'What's up man? This is crazy right?'
