It's all systems go for Wayne as he battles his way through the legal system to get his album released.
Lil Wayne shocked fans when he declared himself a 'prisoner' by Cash Money last month, as he claimed he wanted nothing to do with
Bryan 'Birdman' Williams, the man behind the delay of Wayne's album.
Wayne then took more shots at the label on his new mix tape, Sorry 4 The Wait 2, as he raps: “Cash Money is an army, I’m a one-man army/ And if them n***as comin’ for me, I’m goin’ out like Tony."
Now TMZ claims that the two tried to come to terms this week, but settlement talks broke down with Wayne now suing his mentor, claiming he owes him $8 million.
The rapper will now ask a judge to declare him free of both Cash Money and Birdman's hold, as Wayne claims he broke terms of their contract by delaying the release.
Birdman has previously said he'll be releasing the album in 'due time', but this is clearly not soon enough for Wayne.
