Beyoncé launches vegan delivery service

The Pretty Hurts hitmaker, who participated in a meat-free challenge with husband Jay Z in December 2013 in a bid to adopt ''a healthy lifestyle,'' has teamed up with her personal trainer Marco Borges for the new venture, 22 Days Nutrition, which will provide customers with organic, plant-based, gluten-free, soy-free and dairy-free meals for three weeks.

The 33-year-old star, who is close friends with lifestyle guru and clean-eating advocate Gwyneth Paltrow, said in a statement: ''I am so grateful that I took the challenge and credit Marco with leading by example. He is the most energetic person I know and it's all because of his decision to live a healthy lifestyle. He came up with a great program to get people motivated to make better nutritional choices. I am excited to partner with him.''

The meals will range in price from $9.76 to $16.50 each and Beyoncé is confident anyone will be able to stick to the programme. She said: ''All you have to do is try. If I can do it, anyone can.''

Beyoncé and Jay Z decided to eat vegan food for 22 days shortly before his birthday in late 2013. The 45-year-old rapper explained the reason for their experiment on his blog at the time, writing: ''Psychologists have said it takes 21 days to make or break a habit. On the 22nd day, you've found the way.

''This all began a few months back when a good friend and vegan challenged me to embrace a 'plant-based breakfast' everyday. It was surprisingly easier on me than I thought. ''It just feels right! So you can call it a spiritual and physical cleanse.''

Jimmy Page says he's "warming up on the touchlines" for a live comeback.

Speaking at the West London launch of the 40th anniversary deluxe reissue for Led Zeppelin's Physical Graffiti, the guitarist said he was making steady progress on a return to the stage. With any thoughts of a Zeppelin reunion on hold, he had previously announced plans to put a new .

The Physical Graffiti package includes an early mix of "Trampled Under Foot" entitled "Brandy & Coke"; a "rough orchestra mix" of "Kashmir" called "Driving Through Kasmir"; and a radically different take on "In the Light" from when the song was still called "Everybody Makes It Through."In the meantime, Page has been concentrating on the Zeppelin reissues, which he has personally remastered. "The response has been phenomenal," he said. "I knew all of the material was really great, but it was really important to set the scene right from the beginning and explain the fact that they were companion discs. It's been a real fun project to do because I know what's coming – and there's some great surprises."

In a good-natured public Q&A, Page said such alternate versions showed the band's huge creativity at the time. "Everyone was really shining," he said. "It's so good to be able to present this, because you can see the bare bones of it, but you also know what it becomes. It's a really good illustration of why this whole companion disc series is so good."

"There was a baby grand piano in the main sitting room," said Page. "John Paul Jones had gone over hoping it was going to be a great concert grand, and it was just impossible. It probably hadn't been tuned for 20 years and it was really dusty, but Stu just sat there and started rolling out this wonderful boogie-woogie – he was a master at that style of piano, he had an incredible knowledge and understanding of it. Stu wouldn't make a solo album – he was very shy about that – so I thought, 'Here he is, let's just get him recording' because it was just such fun."Page also reminisced about recording the album at Headley Grange in Hampshire, England, remembering how a visiting Ian Stewart, former keyboard player and road manager with the Rolling Stones, inspired the album's "Boogie with Stu."

Zeppelin's status as the biggest band in the world also influenced what ended up on the record. "Traveling the world was a constant thing, rich with experiences," he said. "But all of it was relative to being able to play live onstage and really stretch out. The whole thing was becoming a creative process and we were living it."

The deluxe edition of Physical Graffiti will be released on February 23rd, almost 40 years to the day after the original's February 24th release.

Zoë Kravitz: Pop music is cool

Zoë Kravitz thinks pop music is "a positive thing" if it's done in the right way.

The daughter of rocker Lenny Kravitz is now a singer in her own band, Lolawolf. And while her dad has always had a clear genre in mind for his music, the 26-year-old accepts her tunes are a bit more muddled and won't appeal to everyone.

"I think pop can be good. Pop just means that people can listen to it, maybe it's a bit cheesy or makes you want to dance or whatever," she explained to i-D magazine. "Pop is a positive thing, if it's good. If it's bad pop, that's a different story. The Beatles were pop. Pop means popular. We're either too indie and too weird for some people or too pop for others."

Zoë is joined by band mates Jimmy Giannopoulos and James Levy in Lolawolf, and the boys often have to travel to work with her while she juggles her music career with her acting commitments. Having appeared in Divergent and Good Kill last year, Zoë somehow managed to find the time to also release the band's eponymous EP at the start of 2014, which was promptly followed by the album Calm Down. She never expected her music to take off the way it has.

"It just happened on its own. I would have been content with just doing little shows and doing it for fun, but people started to like it and it just happened," she explained. "I get that the album is all over the place in that every song has a different energy. But I think it sounds like the same band, it all goes together. We've been calling it Electronic/R&B."

Adele 'making beautiful music with Collins'

Adele and Phil Collins have returned to the studio to finish recording her latest album together.

While the talented duo were first linked back in late 2013, with Collins asked by the songstress to collaborate on some new music for her album 25, their union was only fleeting. Collins even joked he feared he had 'failed the audition' as he hadn't heard from her again.

According to British newspaper The Mirror, the new mother simply 'put all her work on hold for a while' and the delay 'wasn't anything personal'.

The pair have now picked back up where they left off, with Adele having spent the past month in the studio in Los Angeles as she puts the finishing touches to the follow-up to her critically-acclaimed 2011 album, 21.

'Over the past few months, Phil has been working on the tracks once again. She did tell Phil that she was prioritising her personal life at that time, but now that she's back in work mode their track is happening once again,' a source tells the newspaper.

The Academy Award-winning musician previously spoke of the pair working together, admitting that when he never heard back from the singer he assumed he had missed out on the opportunity.

The 64-year-old was under the impression the album would be released last year ' and he wasn't the only one.

The mum-of-one seemed to hint as much when she tweeted on her 26th birthday: 'Bye bye 25... See you again later in the year.'

However, it seems that producers are allowing the fellow Oscar-winning star all the time she needs to complete a record she is 100 per cent happy with.

Producer Paul Epworth insists the release 'will come when it's ready' and not a moment before.

Along with Collins, Adele's new album may also contain an A-list collaboration with Lady Gaga, with the two pictured dining together in recent weeks.

She's also been seen with One Direction's Harry Styles, who is said to be branching out into song writing.

The 21-year-old daughter of Bobby Brown and late songstress Whitney Houston is currently hospitalised after being found facedown in a bathtub full of water unresponsive on Saturday.

It's claimed Bobbi Kristina is in a medically induced coma currently and Missy is extremely concerned of her welfare.

"Bobbi is like a little sister to me," Missy SHAREDwith Yahoos The Insider. "I have been very close to her mother. One thing that her mother said to me before she passed away was to make sure Bobbi Kristina was straight, so my prayers for healing [are] that she comes out and be around people that love her."

According to reports, the prognosis for Bobbi Kristina isn't looking very good. TMZ claims medical practitioners ran some tests engineered to determine how her brain reacts to different stimuli. A source tells the outlet Bobbi Kristina's brain showed 'minimal response' to one of the tests, which is a slight improvement on her condition. Apparently doctors are recommending she remain on life support, with the aid of a ventilator and other machines, for a bit longer due to the positive test result.

However, it's believed the situation still remains bleak, as X17 Online reports she has been transferred to another hospital in the Atlanta area in a final effort to revive her consciousness. 

Bobbi Kristina's mother Whitney died in February 2012 in a similar manner. Her lifeless body was found submerged in a bathtub at a Beverly Hills HOTELsuite.

According to People, Bobbi Kristina's father Bobby might have to make the decision to take his daughter off life support if doctors can't revive her.

'[Bobby is] inconsolable,' a source told the outlet. 'This is his worst nightmare. Losing Whitney [Houston] was hard, but this is a million times worse, and to lose her in the same way would devastate him."

Beyoncé 'keen for new Kanye collaboration'

Beyoncé Knowles is reportedly desperate to record a new track with Kanye West.

The superstar singer has worked with the hip-hop star in the past, including on songs Ego and See Me Now. Kanye and Beyoncé's husband Jay Z are great friends and the trio, along with Kanye's wife Kim Kardashian, recently went to dinner, which is when the idea of the song apparently came up.

"Beyoncé did talk to Kim, to ask about North and speak about Blue Ivy, but Kim felt it was strained and polite. Bey was gushing over Kanye, though, saying see's got a song in mind she could only do with him," an insider told British magazine Heat.

The women are thought to have a tricky relationship, with claims Beyoncé didn't go to Kim and Kanye's wedding last year because she was worried it would be a media circus.

The publication suggests Kim isn't too keen on the idea of her husband working with the star again, but understands she won't be able to do much about it. Especially as Kanye is said to be thrilled by the idea, and his creative juices are already flowing.

"Kanye always gets what he wants when it comes to his creativity. Kim knows she can't ever stand in the way of his music. When he told her how important this is to him and his art, she couldn't exactly refuse. She wants to be supportive of him, even if it means swallowing her pride," the source said.

Bobbi Kristina Brown is reportedly suffering from brain swelling.

The 21-year-old daughter of late singer Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown was rushed to hospital Saturday morning after being found unresponsive in a bathtub at her home in Roswell, Georgia.

And TMZ reports Bobbi Kristina's doctors have now placed her 'in a medically induced coma for swelling of the brain'. The news site also claims she was found facedown in the tub by her husband Nick Gordon and a friend. It's unclear exactly how much water was present, but apparently there was for a bath.

According to other outlets, her health condition is very poor right now.

'It doesn't look good,' a source told ET Online. "[Bobbi Kristina's incident is] no coincidence, [her troubles are] a lot deeper than everyone can see."

According to previous reports, police began life-saving treatment on the scene before Bobbi Kristina was rushed to hospital by ambulance.

Swelling of the brain can be caused by multiple different types of injuries, including tumours, meningitis, high altitudes and drug overdose.

It's unclear exactly what happened with Bobbi Kristina, as her doctor and other authorities close to the situation have yet to confirm details to the public. However, a source tells TMZ police executed a search warrant on her home this afternoon, but found no drugs in the residence.

Apparently her father Bobby is desperate to be by his daughter's side in hospital and is flying from Los Angeles to Atlanta in a rush.

Insiders believe Bobby may have to take his daughter off breathing machines and effectively end her life if Bobbi Kristina's condition doesn't improve.

'It does not look good. We don't think Bobbi Kristina is going to pull through,' a source told Hollywood Life. 'Bobby will make the decision to pull the plug on Bobbi Kristina, if need be.'

Fans and celebrities like Ciara and Andy Cohen are keeping Bobbi Kristina in their prayers.

Meghan Trainor says no one realises how hard popstars work.

The singer became an overnight sensation with her hit All About That Bass, which encourages women to love themselves just the way they are.

While she's enjoying her new-found fame, there are aspects of the job she finds tough.

"The exhaustion," she admitted to the British edition of OK! magazine when asked about the downsides.

"No one knows how hard popstars work, there's not a day off. I remember talking to Jessie J and she said she's only had one day off in the last four months. I was like, 'B***h, what? You've been working every day for four months?' She was like, 'Yeah, but that's how we get to number one!'"

Luckily there are lots of aspects 21-year-old Meghan loves, such as flying first or business class for work. Being a celebrity also made her realise she needs to adjust her diet to stay healthy enough for her hectic schedule, so she's swapped pizzas for chicken and broccoli.

There's also the fact that being an A-lister means her life is constantly being scrutinised. She's endured a lot of criticism for seemingly slamming slimmer girls and worries about being papped sitting in a less-than-ladylike manner.

"But so far, it's great. I'm not going to mess up," she insisted.

Meghan has been busy lately, releasing her second single Lips Are Movin and admitting she's been recording with One Direction heartthrob Harry Styles.

Bobbi Kristina Brown 'found unresponsive'

Bobbi Kristina Brown has been stabilised after reportedly being found unconscious in a bathtub.

The daughter of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown is said to have been found unresponsive by her husband Nick Gordon and a friend on Saturday morning. They immediately began CPR according to TMZ, carrying on until the police and paramedics arrived in Roswell, Georgia.

According to the website, police began life-saving treatment on scene, with the 21-year-old then rushed to hospital by ambulance.

Her breathing is now said to have been stabilised. Police are currently investigating where the alleged incident took place.

Bobbi's mother Whitney died in February 2012, when she was found submerged in a bathtub in her hotel suite in Beverly Hills. The singer's death was recorded as 'accidental drowning' and traces of cocaine were found in her body.

Bobbi and Nick, who was raised as her stepbrother, married at the beginning of last year. She has previously credited her husband with saving her after the passing of her mother.

"He's saved my life through such an extremely difficult time. I was very, very low at some points. He's been everything for me and that means a lot to me," she explained to British newspaper The Sun.

"If my mother could see me now she would just be so incredibly happy. I can just see her - she'd be running around fussing about the wedding."

Katy Perry notes her Super Bowl XLIX performance will be 'a real female-fun night'.

The Dark Horse songstress is performing at the Super Bowl Halftime Show this Sunday.

And although she refuses to reveal full details on her forthcoming gig, Katy hints fans can expect a surprise female performer to grace the stage with her.

I have to keep some surprises for Sunday and I'm very, very excited about this guest because I thought long and hard about it and wanted to kinda bring someone back, like a throwback of sorts, that definitely needed some more shine,' she told reporters at the Pepsi Super Bowl XLIX Halftime Show Press Conference in Phoenix, Arizona on Thursday. 'All I can say is it will be a real female-fun night.'

The Associated Press surmises Katy will be performing with Missy Elliott at the show.

And although the 30-year-old pop star didn't confirm it herself, she is confident fans will be in for a treat.

'When you hear the first ring of the chord, I think jaws will drop and faces will melt,' Katy teased.

The Roar singer will definitely be decked out in wonderful costumes at the Super Bowl, as her good friend Jeremy Scott will be designing her stage clothes.

The pair are known to be close, with Katy one of the stars who graced his debut Moschino runway in February last year.

Jeremy is famed for his quirky pieces, with that collection inspired by McDonald's and cartoon character SpongeBob SquarePants. He's keeping his plans for Katy's big show under wraps, but it will likely include lots of sparkle.

Suge Knight arrested for murder

Suge Knight has been arrested for murder.

The rap mogul was declared a wanted man by police yesterday following a hit-and-run in Los Angeles in which one man died.

His lawyer James Blatt insisted he would be turning himself in, which has now happened.

The Death Row Records co-founder - who helped launch the careers of the likes of Tupac Shakur, Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg - has now been arrested for murder and is being held in West Hollywood. The Los Angeles County Sheriff has confirmed this, adding that he is being held on $2million bail.

Lt. John Corina of the LA County Sheriff's Department also gave some insight into the incident.

At 3pm local time on Thursday, a man who fits Knight's description arrived at a burger outlet in his car and began arguing with two other people. The man purported to be Knight then backed his car into one man and then ran another person over - although there are conflicting reports about whether they were the people he was disagreeing with.

It is alleged that after this, Knight fled in a red Ford pickup. The vehicle was later recovered in a car park in West Los Angeles.

It had previously been reported that the incident took place on a movie shoot involving Ice Cube and Dr. Dre, taking place in Compton, California.

The policeman now explained that there was an earlier altercation involving the same three men, but it happened somewhere else. It is not clear whether this was the alleged film set incident, which is said to have happened as the upcoming N.W.A biopic Straight Outta Compton was being shot.

The victims, aged 55 and 51, were taken to hospital where one died and the other is being treated.

Knight's lawyer Blatt has seemingly confirmed the accident and that the music star was behind the wheel at the time - although he suggests the people who were injured were not who Knight had been disagreeing with.

"He was in the process of being physically assaulted by two men and in an effort to escape he unfortunately hit two [other] individuals," he said earlier today. "He was in his car trying to escape."

"We are confident that once the investigation is completed, he will be totally exonerated," he told Associated Press.

However, Lt. Corina has seemingly alleged the incident was intentional and that those hurt had been disagreeing with Knight.

"Looks like he drove backwards and struck the victims and drove forwards and struck them again," he told reporters. "The people we talked to say it looked like it was an intentional act."

Knight has been in trouble with the law many times before, including being sentenced to nine years in jail for a probation violation. In August he was shot six times while in a nightclub in Los Angeles.

If convicted of murder, he faces 30 years in jail.

T.I.: Iggy should be silent

T.I. thinks Iggy Azalea should focus on music, not media controversy.

Iggy has been under fire recently, feuding with Azealia Banks on Twitter, arguing with Jill Scott and Eve over her alleged 'blaccent' and spatting with shoe designer Steve Madden.

And T.I., who has previously defended Iggy and signed her to his Grand Hustle record label in 2012, thinks it's time the Australian rapper keep her mouth shut, noting it's 'absolutely not' in her best interest to continue reacting to controversy.

"I think she should focus on what got her here. That's her music, her performing. And continue to just present her talents to the world," he told a TMZ paparazzo.

T.I. went on to compare Iggy's situation to that of NFL Patriots quarterback Tom Brady's recent bout with the media.

Tom was accused of deflating footballs in order to win playoff games so his team can land in the Super Bowl and the media has dubbed this controversy, 'Deflategate'.

When the paparazzo said 'leave all the drama alone, right?' while referring to Iggy, T.I. responded with: 'pretty much'.

"It's just like asking Tom Brady if he should be commenting on Deflategate,' T.I. said. 'You know what I'm saying? You should be worried about the big game on Sunday."

Iggy most recently came under fire after expressing her distaste over the media campaign she stars in for shoe designer Steve Madden.

The New Classic rapper went on a Twitter rant Thursday noting how much she despises the images.

"I worked really hard on the creative direction of both the shoes and the shoot I WAS involved with and in,' she wrote in tweets that have since been deleted.

"I really feel it's been tainted with these God awful images that Steve madden took upon (sic) themselves to create and share without my knowledge. Gross gross gross."

Representatives from the Steve Madden shoe brand told ET Online the company is fine with her comments, noting they're nothing more than a 'lover's quarrel'.

It's claimed Rihanna has secured a personal trainer for Leonardo and also enrolled him in martial arts classes.

The sizzling songstress is said to be deeply committed to her quest for Leonardo to obtain a hard body.

'She wants him to get a six-pack,' the source said.

In the past, Rihanna has attracted rap's bad boys. She briefly dated Drake and had an on/off relationship with Chris Brown, during which he assaulted her in 2009.

Suge Knight 'turning himself in for hit-and-run'

Suge Knight's attorney claims he'll be turning himself into authorities for a hit-and-run.

The Death Row Records co-founder is accused of killing a man named Terry after hitting him with his car.

And Suge's lawyer James Blatt told ABC7 Eyewitness News in Los Angeles the 49-year-old is 'expected to turn himself in to sheriff's deputies' following the incident.

According to TMZ, Suge became involved in a fight during a movie shoot involving Ice Cube and Dr. Dre taking place in Compton, California on Thursday. Apparently Suge pulled up to the film set in his car during the afternoon and when security asked him to leave, problems quickly escalated.

'A fight broke out between Suge and two men. Suge got back into his car, took the wheel and threw the vehicle in reverse ... and ran over a man who suffered fatal injuries,' the website writes.

ABC7 reports Terry was the man who died as a result of being ran over. The second victim is supposedly actor Cle Sloan, who wasn't seriously injured.

TMZ claims law enforcements sources have told the outlet police are informing all authorities based in Southern California to 'be on the lookout' for Suge, despite the fact his attorney is preparing for him to turn himself in. Apparently he's considered 'armed and dangerous' currently and is wanted for a homicide interrogation.

Suge has been in deep trouble with the law recently. He is currently out on a $500,000 bail bond for the alleged theft of a paparazzos equipment. A hearing on that matter is scheduled for next Tuesday.

His health has been in flux too as Suge was shot by a gun during a pre MTV Video Music Awards party hosted by Chris Brown in August of last year.

Taylor Swift has trademarked a number of lyrics from her chart-topping album 1989.

According to legal database Justia, T-Swizzle has requested a legal trademark from the US government over phrases such as ‘This Sick Beat’ and ‘Party Like It’s 1989’.

She is also thought to have applied to trademark the lyrics ‘Could Show You Incredible Things’, 'Nice to Meet You, Where You Been?' and 'Cause We Never Go Out of Style’.

The move means the prevention of others wanting to use the phrases on products such as Christmas stockings, guitar straps, whalebone and removal tattoos as well as typewriters, pot holders, whips, saddlery and non-medicated toiletries.

AKA opens up about his music, love and life

Cape Town - Rapper AKA is notoriously private about his relationship with Ntombezinhle "DJ Zinhle" Jiyane, but he happily told City Press last week that he’s dating the love of his life.

It was a good week for AKA, whose real name is Kiernan Forbes.

He picked up six nominations for the Metro FM Music Awards and will go head-to-head with Cassper Nyovest, with whom he had a public feud last year.
The two have buried the hatchet and, when asked about it, Forbes said: "That’s old news."

But don’t expect the pair to hit the recording studio together.

"I don’t think I’ll do any collaborations with Cassper Nyovest any time soon," Forbes told City Press during an interview at a Joburg restaurant.

He has a reputation for being high-maintenance and a bit of a diva, but in person Forbes is down-to-earth and humble.

"I’m a better person than I was a year ago. I’m more refined and calculated. I pick my moments better now."

Although he’s often outspoken on social networks, Forbes is discreet about his love life.

Recently, though, he and Jiyane jetted off to Mauritius on a holiday.
"According to South African standards, I would say I’ve arrived.

"But to me, I’m not even halfway to where I want to be in my career. I believe there’s so much more to come from me.

"I would like to think of myself as a pioneer and someone who has opened doors for new hip-hop artists."

It’s also been part of his journey to prove to himself that he’s "not a fly-by-night".

"I’m here to stay for many years," said Forbes.

Chris Brown SA tour to go ahead as planned

Cape Town – After Chris Brown’s US tour was delayed this week due to him not completing his community service, organisers confirmed on Thursday that his South African tour will be going ahead as planned.

Chris Brown took to Instagram earlier this week to announce that he had to pull out of his Between the Sheets tour with Trey Songz and Tyga. Brown was banned from travelling by a judge until he completes his community service.

"The SA tour is not affected in any way by the recent change in dates of Breezy’s US tour," says Glen Netshipise of Glen21 Entertainment, on behalf of fellow promoters Sobukwe Jali (Jalibird) and Thato Segaole (Vertex Events). "The SA tour featuring August Alsina is going ahead as planned. Tickets are selling fast and we encourage fans not to miss out on this epic line-up by purchasing their tickets now..."

In a Twitter message earlier this week, a disappointed Chris Brown personally apologised to all his fans and told them how he is "busting his ass", doing community service everyday so he can be back on stage soon. The show must go on he wrote.
