The former talk show host was certainty in holiday mode at the rather trendy Hotel Fasano.

So good was her mood, that the actress started dancing away with her female friend almost as soon as she made it down to her sun chairs.
She's told a few people to get up and dance in her time, and Queen Latifah is all about practicing what she preaches.

The 44-year-old star did not just kick back on her holiday, she instead kicked up her heels in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on Tuesday.

Joined by her friends and partner Eboni Nichols, the star turned a day by the pool into a dance party.

After their spontaneous dance party, the star and her pal collapsed on the chairs in fits of laughter before posing for more pictures.

Making sure the day got off to a luxurious start, Queen and her companions indulged in some champagne as they soaked up all the sunshine.

All that sipping and dancing was clearly hot work as Queen Latifah decided it was time to hit the pool.

The rapper started off her day in her go-to vacation outfit of a loose fit black tank and a pair of khaki boardshorts but quickly ditched them to go for a dip.

For her swim, the star donned a bright blue two piece bikini that showed off her curvaceous figure.

Tying her hair back, the star looked like she was going to dive under the water but at the last minute changed her mind and waded through the shallow end.

While one piece are often considered less sexy that a bikini, the 36-year-old proved there was always exceptions to the rule.

The strapless Mara Hoffman brightly coloured one piece featured a lattice strapped back and allowed the choreographer to show off her dancer's body.

And that was not the only thing the swimsuit showed off, the interesting back design also revealed Eboni has a rather large tattoo running down the length of her spine.

The two ladies have been enjoying some time off of late as at the start of this month they rang in the New Year with some beachside fun in Miami, Florida.

The pair have been reportedly dating for some time with them all but confirming their relationship when they were photographed kissing while on holiday.
