In recent years, Miley Cyrus has repeatedly reminded the world that she's far from shy when it comes to displaying her body.

And this week, the 22-year-old pop star stepped things up a notch, when she went topless while frolicking in the sea with her beau of three months, Patrick Schwarzenegger, 21.

Giving uninterrupted views of her tattooed torso and arms, the star was dressed only in skimpy black bikini bottoms, save for a scattering of jewellery.

In a series of Polaroid shots featuring provocative poses and full-frontal nudity, she is caught behind the scenes of her Bangerz tour by her close pal Cheyne Thomas.

The shots, taken everywhere from Helsinki to Argentina, show Miley killing time between tour dates in her own unique fashion.

Miley and Patrick, who have since returned to the US mainland, have packed in a considerable amount of fun-filled dates during their short time together.

In the video obtained by the gossip website wears a silver wig and a black bra as her boyfriend giddily video records the antics on his cell phone camera.

Despite being in a relationship with him, Miley recently admitted that she still struggles with the spelling of Patrick's last name.

'Literally, I just had this conversation, I can't tell you!' she said during an interview on Good Morning America. 'Apparently there's not a T in it.'
